DRIEBERGEN - Wereldwijd openen in juni 83 nieuwe hotels hun deuren. In juli zijn dit er 78 en in augustus 362. Over heel 2012 gaan circa 1.330 hotels van start. Dat blijkt uit cijfers van TopHotelProjects, een database die de bouw en opening van nieuwe hotels in kaart brengt.
Twee nieuwe hotels die in juni openen zijn the Hard Rock Hotel Megapolis in Panama City met 1.500 kamers en de Royal Alhambra Palace Hotel in Turkije met 500 kamers.
